CommunityEventOut & About

November 29, 2019

We’ve spent the last few days out in our community for a couple of different causes. It’s very important to support and give back to our community. It’s a big part of our identity as a business and as people. It’s also an opportunity to interact with our business community and get to know the public and have the public get to know us. After all, we are only a few months old!

On November 27th we were at the Elmira Home Hardware for their Ladies and Gentlemen’s Night. This event supported Woolwich Community Services and our local food bank. We served a few of our craft beers. There were also challenges, sponsor prizes, food, a fashion show, paint demonstrations and more.

On November 28th we were set up at STARTUPS & BEER at THEMUSEUM. Founded in 2016, STARTUPS & BEER, was created by a group of tech companies with the goal of connecting with new talent and their community. STARTUPS & BEER brings together some of Waterloo Region’s leading companies, local craft breweries and the community in support of a great cause. STARTUPS & BEER returned this season for another free event in support of their community partner, oneROOF Youth Services. They are a multi-service agency for youth (12-25) experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in the Waterloo Region. All proceeds of this event went towards oneROOF Youth Service.

We are always interested in getting out into the community. If you have an event that could use some craft beer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
